No. The 6x12 ridge beam, its posts and footings are drawn at assumed sizes. Have a licensed professional verify the sizes, spans and bearing for your site before you build.

Is the porch covered?

Yes. The 24' x 10' front porch is drawn under a shed roof on four posts, reached through a 6'-0" French door pair.

About this plan

The Summit is a 24'-0" x 40'-0" one-story cabin with a loft. It has 1,156 sq ft heated: 960 sq ft on the first floor plus 196 sq ft of loft with 5'-0" or more headroom. A 24'-0" x 10'-0" covered porch runs across the front, reached through a 6'-0" French door pair.

The living room, dining room and kitchen share a vaulted ceiling under a 10/12 gable roof. The primary bedroom (9'-6 1/2" x 9'-11 1/2") has its own bath with a 36" x 36" shower and a walk-in closet. Bedroom 2 (9'-4" x 7'-1") has a reach-in closet and uses the hall bath, which has a 60" tub and a stacked washer-dryer. The bedroom wing has 8'-0" ceilings, with the 12'-5 1/2" x 15'-8 1/2" loft above, reached by a straight stair.
