About this plan

The Laurel is a 24'-0" x 28'-0" cabin with a loft over a full basement. It has 838 sq ft heated: 672 sq ft on the first floor plus 166 sq ft of loft with 5'-0" or more headroom. A 24'-0" x 6'-0" covered porch runs across the front.

The living room, dining area and kitchen share a vaulted ceiling under a 12/12 gable roof. One bedroom (10'-4" x 9'-4"), a bath with a tub, a laundry and a storage room sit on the north side under an 8'-0" ceiling. The loft is reached by a straight stair from the living room, with the basement stair below it.

The unfinished basement has a family room, a future second bedroom with an egress window and well, and a mechanical and storage room.
